I hope it's okay to post this question in this forum.

My issue is that I simply can't balance my Sony a7Riii + the very light Samyang 35mm 2.8 pancake lens on the DJI Ronin S. Is it possible with that setup? And if so - can I somehow find a tutorial that shows how to balance a light weight lens with the Sony a7-series on the DJI Ronin S?

Hi Kim, sorry for the difficulties in balancing the gimbal, we only have one tutorial video about how to balance, did you balance it according to the video?

Yes, I used this very video to balance it the first few times. With more heavy lenses like the 28mm og the 16-36 I have no problems at all. Only with light weight lenses lige the samyang 2.8 models.

Might be the combo is too light in fact.
Not sure about the Ronin-S, but other gimbals I have used have a minimum weight.
But I think you should be above that.
