I am running DJI Assistant V2.0.10 with Windows 10 64bit and need the driver to connect my mavic air remote to my computer. I have not been able to figure out where to get these drivers for the life of me. When I connect my controller to my computer, it gives me a continuous conect and disconnect sound. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks a lot.

Great just what I need to hear. They told me they would have a firmware update in a few weeks that you can get through DJI Assistant but you f your having problems on a Window 10 machine like I have how will I be to download the new firmware onto my controller and drone? My first high quality drone and I’m not happy.

These are the problems I have with my Mavic Air:

After going through and getting all of the drivers updated, I am still having problems with my drone. I have re-calibrated my controller and the drone, yet the messages still occur. I have had no crashes or hard landings.

I will share with you the messages I am getting when I hit "go fly" via dji go 4:
1 - "Main Controller Data Error."
2 - Gimbal cannot receive main controller data."
3 - "Accelerometer failed."
4 - "Gyroscope failed."
5 - "Check "Overall Status" in Main Controller settings."

I took screen shots of all these and will include them.

I have tried to calibrate the compass, but when I spin the drone, noting happens. I have also tried the IMU calibration and when I hit the "start" button, nothing happens.

Any ideas of what I can do next to rectify this problem?

Hi BryGuy, you saved me from uploading a load of photos.
I have almost the same problem, but both accelerometers and both gyros report 'Data error', not disconnected.
I did contact DJI support, but as this was one month out of warranty, got little help.

I am looking at buying a new IMU and hoping that will fix it.
Will dismantle and check all connections first, and if the problem still exists, apply a little percussive maintenance directly to the IMU!

I'll update if I have any luck.

I would be grateful for any other user comments.

Hi,

I took apart the MA, cleaned and reseated all the cable connections and rebuilt. Still gave errors.
Haven't used ti for a while, so updated firmware on the AC, no problem.
Couldn't reset or update the RC.
I've read lots of posts about driver problems and followed suggestions to uninstall Assistant 2 and found an old version here:

https://dl.djicdn.com/downloads/phantom_4/DJI_Assistant_2_Installer_20160602.exe

I installed that**, then reinstalled the latest version of Assistant 2 and successfully reset RC firmware, followed by incremental updates to the current version.

No more errors!

** Windows 10 needs to have the check for driver signing turned off before installing Assistant 2.
Open Powershell and type in:

bcdedit /set nointegritychecks on

Do not restart after installation, run Assistant 2 to update your firmware.

I don't think the errors were due to connections, but to firmware problems
I hope this helps,

I may be a bit late to the party, but I have found the reason that the drivers do not install correctly.  The DriverSetup64.bat (in C:\Program Files (x86)\DJI Product\DJI Assistant 2\Drivers_all\Drivers_Win10) has references to the incorrect location of pnputil.  I changed all the references as follows:

%windir%\Sysnative\pnputil -i -a ".\fdt\ftdibus.inf"
to
%windir%\System32\pnputil -i -a ".\fdt\ftdibus.inf"

I then disabled the driver signature enforcement (quick google search).

I then ran the DriverSetup64.bat and the drivers installed correctly after prompting me to accept the unsigned drivers.

Not my RC and MA are connecting to DJI Assistant 2 V1.2.5.

I hope this helps.

I think that's the same version i found but I downloaded it as a zip file saved it as
a copy and then unzipped the original to install it . I have just purchased a new mavic air and was gutted to find the version available from dji not longer supports it. I haven't tried updating to the latest version, what would be the benefits in doing so?

I have purchased 2 different controllers.  Both fail to work with Windows at all. Due to this promise, lack of delivery, lack of support, no communication on support, I cannot run a company doing drone work with association to DJI.
After my Mavic Pro2 just flew straight off into the sunset due to a controller error I have switched to a company which allows consistent use their drone by way of RETURNING HOME to allow another flight;  IMAGINE THAT!
Good bye.
