So there is a little disappointment with getting the best entry level drone for the money and then finding out that that the cell /tablet that you intended to use with it will not work...  so in the spirit of making some lemonade here, can some of you that already have setups, or have tested, please post recommendations?  I know iphone 11 will work - just looking for affordable options that won't add hundreds more investment just to get in the air!  Thanks in advance!

My three devices work, iPhone XR, iPhone 7 plus and Samsung Galaxy s9, all running the latest OS updates. I was going to try my Huawei Media Tab 8, but I can't find it at the moment to try it. I think its on the compatible list though.

Would be nice with a community compiled list with "compatible/working" devices. I'v tried Moto X4 (unsupported) which crashes when pressing Go Fly and my old Samsung Galaxy S6 (supported) but still only provide sporadic still image and after some time forces RTH.

I am waiting for my MM to arrive and will test my phones and tab. I currently use a Samsung Note8, Nexus 9 (2014), and or Moto G6 with my MA, no concerns. I am hopeful to continue with these and dedicate one to the MM. DJI provides a list: http://www.phantomhelp.com/tips/ ... go-updated-daily.18 . I see they have added a "blue dot" on the chart to show compatibility of DJI GO Fly with various phones and tabs.

Works great with DJI FLY app, video is smooth, and image fully fills the screen. I haven't had any issues.

DJI Fly app do not work with either Samsung galaxy A3 2016 and Samsung galaxy A3 2017 despite other DJI apps working fine on both...
