Yes, I know there are a few existing threads on this, but they seem to have stagnated and as the drone registration thing has now been around a few weeks, I thought I'd raise this again as there's not much mention of it anywhere...
I'm looking for some neat and tidy, small and removable stickers to put my UK operator ID onto my 3 drones. I really like the German ones here https://shop.drohnen.de/en/drohnen-plakette-uk-35/, but to label 3 drones and postage would cost 3 times the cost of getting an operator ID in the first place and also the CAA state that Operator IDs may not renew with the same numbers (and who knows whether this registration will stay in place or if we will adopt Europe's version!) - so I'm loathe to buy thosevat that price!


So anyway, I'm looking to see what others are doing to label up, and where you got the labels from?

(Not looking to start a debate on the whole registration and testing process in the first place, it has its pro's and cons, so please let's skip that here and just be thankful we're not in Canada!)

Just get (or borrow from a friend) a "Brother" type label maker like this:

Thats what I did until I got the FAA ones for us here in the US.
Just put your Reg. number, and a telephone number, and you should be good to go...

I cut out a piece of self sticking vinyl paper and painted id no on it. As long as the letters are more than 3 mm height. Stuck it on top of drone. Have not flown yet to see if it sticks.

Bit of a bodge i know but for a £1. Flys fine

Pretty cheap, plus allows me to have a lot of spares
