Dear DJI admins,
I currently have a Spark and if it has a weak compass signal then it switches to ATTI mode and this has caused many people an unpleasant surprise. Many people have lost their drones.
My question is how did the engineers solve this for the Mavic Mini?

I guess it’s the same. My first flight with the mini went into Atti for 3 min. I wanted to see how it was behaving with not enough sat acquired. (Fly with caution). Only then I had enough sats.

@ Jakab Gipsz : Would you like in case of Compass / GPS errors the Mini jumping (running) away?  Thats what happens, if you  (the system) doesn´t fall back on ATTI .  

So if you´re scared of this, learn to fly with a simple $20 non GPS drone .

If there is magnetic interference then compass will be in conflict with gps and IMU compass will favored over gps and craft will go to atti mode, spark seemed to have more problems than most dji craft, but I think since MAir compass problems have reduced a lot.

It will probably be the same.
I doubt mini has redundant sensors like the 'pro' range has.

There are vision sensors on the bottom to help with flying ondoors without gps.

The question is whether DJI solved the problem that the Spark signaled a compass error and then switched to ATTI mode and often lost the connection.
How does the Mavic Mini handle possible compass misalignment?
Most of all, I am curious and specific about the answers from ADMINs.

to answer you, they may have not, the Mavic min still has this problem, occasionally, I had it happen twice on one flight from 181 flights.

For what I've learned even the Mini has no compass reset in case of GPS and compass mismatch, so you risk a fly-away. You need to check the correct orientation at the begin of your flight.

If craft has compass problem flight controller will Always drop GPS in favor of Compass, mini can fly without gps but not without compass .

I asked because I have a Parrot Anafi drone and there is a completely unknown concept to ATTI. Never give back control to the pilot. It’s not a flawless machine but I’ve never read on the Anafi board that GPS control is eliminated and needs to be stabilized manually.
I didn’t get an official response, but it became clear that the Mini wasn’t free from this problem either.
