Standard controller and smart phone combination is not really the best feature of this otherwise brilliantly designed gadgetry called The Mavic. Optional Smart Controller is much better, but at a hefty extra price, let's be honest. However, some of us own CrystalSky devices already, and these can be successfully employed here. Mavmount (see link below) is offering CNC machined plate with a variety of device holders, including custom CrystalSky bracket. Unfortunately this bracket is replacing original DJI socket, eliminating the luxury of using CrystalSky with other DJI radio controllers. Here the original Mavmount ball head is replaced with standard CrystalSky RC holder.
