As much as I like my MM thus far your list does not include any tablets that I can see.  I tried my ipad mini and the dji fly app was not available for it in the app store.  Soo yesterday I went out and bought the latest Samsung 8 inch tablet running android 9, and the dji fly app was not available for it in the google play store...  Am I missing something???
Has anyone found a tablet that actually works with this app?  On the samsung 8 inch that I bought is there another way than googleplay store for me to get it on there and have it work?

Others have said it works on iPad mini, DJI fly works on my iPad Pro 11 just fine. Open up App Store on your mini iPad  and make sure your searching for ALL apps not just ones for your iPhone.

I would imagine that if it works on ipad mini 4, it should work on gens after that and since it works on a ipad pro, it should work on any ipad thats 64 bit, including ipad air. Thats just a hunch though, nothing concrete. I know it doesn't work on my Samsung tab a 10.1 2019 version model sm-t510nzkaxar. The app doesn't even show up in the play store even if I look at all the apps DJI has published. If I try to side load it, I get app not installed.

I have the app on my Apple mini 4 but still waiting for the MM to arrive.

Yes it does 'work' on Ipad Mini 4 but it is far from working as it should be..... As I have said many times just a stretched Phone app

How are you liking using the 11" iPad Pro? I bought the wifi one yesterday, but I'm contemplating returning it for the cellular version just for GPS. Is yours the wifi or cellular pro?

The iPad Pro 11 inch works great, I really like how bright it is in direct sunlight, mine is cellular. If you have tethering on your cell phone you can use that on your iPad for the map in the lower corner of DJI fly..

Thanks. Last night was the last night for the pre Black Friday sale at BestBuy. My local stores didn't have any of the cellular in stock so I got the wifi only. I'm regretting it now, so I'll probably just not open it and exchange it for the cellular when they go back on BF sale.

My main concern is the wifi only not having GPS. It may come in handy if I pick up a Mavic 3 when they come out. I herd you need GPS for active track and follow me. Also I've got the Skydio 2 preordered. so I have no clue if it will require a GPS device for the controller. I'd rather have it and not need it, then need it and not have it.

Believe it or not but all I do with these quads is fly manually, I’ve never messed with active track or follow but if you use those features definitely get the cellular version..

Huawei Mediapad m5 8.4" works very well with Fly app and mini. 4gb of ram, 64gb of ram, 16:10 high res IPS screen, and you can add a micro SD.

The Huawei MediaPad M5 8.4" has been working well for me too. It has onboard GPS, even though is Wifi only.

32GB is way too small for and ipad it will fill up in no time. You will actually only have about 24GB for your use. Quite frankly Apple should not sell such devices with such a small storage. You need at least 64GB or better 128

What cable are you using please? I bought 2 different micro usb to usb C cables but neither work with my Pro 11 but work with my Samsung Note 8.

Did you buy just charging cables you need to buy OTG cables

The OTG cable comes with the phantom 4 series as well..

Yes, Mavic Mini does work with iPad mini 4, but the DJI fly software is not optimized for the tablet, so you will get letterbox on the screen.  You will need to get a longer OTG cable.

Your welcome. It is also a braided wire. I like the right angle and it fits snug into the controller. Length is good as I also use a Mavmount, so I don't have to remove my phone protector.
I also bought this one, as I have good results with the quality: Cable: controller to phone
Both work, but I favor the right angle. I now have a back up, too.

I got my samsung galaxy 8 inch to work!!!   I got the kids edition as it was only 99 and it comes with  bullet proof case!!!

Sir Big'uns,  No photos tonight. I am tired. You may believe me or don't.  The DJI Fly app fully covers the 10.2" iPad Display. I don't believe it will fit the controller.
