Hi All,
Seeing as the CE version is dual band, and the higher dB 'longer range' transmission is on 2.4ghz.
Is there a way to manually select 2.4ghz as the band to use all the time, instead of just hoping it switches to it?  Even in 'manual' mode, it sits on 5.8.
How can i manually chose the 2.4ghz frequency range and have it stay on that setting?
Hope someone here or from DJI can explain.
Many thanks

The 2.4ghz band is quite heavily used, so even though it has more power the 5.8ghz frequency may be better as there will be less interference.

If you're in the city, then its better to use 5ghz. Out of the city or flying for longer distances its a better idea to use 2.4ghz. This is my opinion. Or just use Auto

Today, in the city, 5Ghz. I could not get more than 55-65m in height and at most 100m away from me withouth badly loosing signal... At one moment i hat to use the RTH function because i could not control the drone anymore. Kinda low performance imho... I was expecting it to behave better than a spark for example...
I will try to test also 2.4 and get back with some feedback.

Very strange... In 5ghz is not normal. Maby the place you were is very problematic or problems with the drone/remote controller/antennas position??? I dont know what to say.
