Man I was so hyped for an update, I nearly got a Heart Attack when reading the new Thread Topic..... And this is all? *sigh*
Thanks anyways for your continuous work, even if this update doesn't have improvements I expected.

Does this mean that they fixed the issue where if I am recording using Rocksteady and I wave my hand in front of the camera there is no more lag??

No, they didn't.

mine is showing minimal lag at 4k 25fps but it seems a little stuttery on panning to be honest...playback is smooth though.

I installed and tested it and it's exact the same as before. Anyways , this was one thing i actually didn't care about that much.

To care about it or not just go and look for your self it’s fixed the DJI is trying to fix issues and they added optimized sound for external microfone and loop recording mode i’m happy with those upgrades

I hope you are working on rocksteady wobble/oscylations, and would be nice to have sharpness control

No, they didn't.

I just updated the FW on my Action and tested the lag with RS on using a 4k/30 setting and the lag is most definitely improved... it's not 1:1 yet, but its infinitely better than what it was prior to the update.

I watched your video and how it is there is exactly like it was all the time since 1.06 for me. Nothing changed.

@DJI Support:
- When the battery level appears - turning the webcam off and on again to see how much more is left - it doesn't make sense.
- When you finally get the option to add a date/time overlay to the recorded material.

Any way to add an option to control and decrease Sharpening and Contrast? Also better compression? I bought the Osmo Action, the usability is great, but I can put 50% more video on the Hero 7 at the same resolution (1080P and 2.7K) at 60 fps. I like the less wide lens of the Osmo, more natural / warmer colors but the image is oversharpened, and file size is very large compared to the GP Hero 7.  I have some time to decide, I may keep both or return the Osmo or the GPH7. If I'd get some better firmware options for the Osmo Action that would be a deal maker.

Firmware seems to add bugs, I did try the loop recording and the cam gets quite hot after a few minutes. I also get a battery low warning although the battery is at 42%. If I switch it on again it works fine.

I would wish for an airplane mode to switch of WiFi and Bluetooth as I can't use it otherwise on airplanes in the cockpit.

IMPORTANT FEATURES NEEDED!!!

DJI needs to add HDMI out via USB-C for the OSMO Action camera.

The DJI MIMO app needs an option to switch between multiple OSMO Action cameras so I can preview each camera during setup and recording (such as multiple cameras in a vehicle). An option would be nice to simply scroll through all the connected cameras and just click the one you want to control. A refresh button would be nice as well for updating the cameras currently on and detectable by the MIMO app.

The DJI MIMO app also needs an option to change the names of cameras so they can be easily identified when using multiple cameras together.

Yes, controlling more cams was nice.
Please add this function.

For development DJI team - please add "Airplane Mode". Wi-Fi and Bluetooth opinion for turn them OFF. Its definitely safe battery and makes less RF radiation for users.

First you run DJI Mimo though it downloads a firmware update, then you connect to the osmo action.

The 4K live view delay in 30fps definitely seems to be WAY better with this new update.  Its better on both the front view and the review screens!  

I didn't notice any real improvements in the external mic audio, but haven't tested it extensively yet.

I did find out my self the costly way. Cynova adapter does not take TSSR. I think that should be specified in all marketing. It is only said that it has a 3.5 mm connector. Isn't Osmo Action a consumer product? Does one expect ordinary consumers to be audio specialists? I just wonder. Most Lavalier mics I have been looking at has a TSSR 3.5 mm connector and a lot of consumers will expect it to work with the 3.5 mm jack connector in Cynova....

The Cynova connector is actually a 3rd party connector. DJI didn't bother to make one, unfortunately.

Please ad different levels for rock-steady eg a 15% crop version and a 10% crop version.

Also it would be great to have a rocksteady (perhaps a reduced crop as mentioned above)  for 4:3 shooting modes, 2.7 48fps or 6fps is really needed to be competitive.

That’s the only thing stopping me from buying this camera!!! Have the pocket but really want the Osmo action but not the lag!! GoPro is looking better or even the Insta OneX!

Any new update for switching screen while recording? Mine still not working in recording mode.

There are still problems with audio with Cynova and latest software 2019.12.03. The recorded level is way to high, I have tested with a lot of different Lavalier mics, all same. It should be a setting where level from an external mic can be adjusted (down).
