Flew around indoors a little and it felt a little more stable to me. Could also be placebo effect. No issues so far, in any case.

They say in the Log "optimized gimbal controll," i hope they mean the fix of the freaking gimbal noise and the jittering in cold conditions.

That would almost surprise me if the noise could be corrected by a firmware update. I think that has a mechanical cause, so that a drop of oil would fix the issue.

Hopefully the drifting when flying indoors is fixed. Can't wait to get home and test it.

yes,  the outside temperature will be increased by 10° C through the firmware!

Well I'm no expert but the MM had problems with stability in the cold before but they fixed that through an update. I personally don't mind if it can't be fixed through an update since it only happens in the cold. I was merely wondering if this update had anything to do with that.

Needs to be a sticky or "TOP" as you call it here? and also no unlocking added to the update? That is a must!

To me that noise just sounds like the noise of the motor turning the gimbal.  If it isn't affecting actual use i'm amazed this bothers you? Just because the moment the props start, its too noisy to hear a little motor moving

The concern is not about the noise itself, but if somehow this is affecting shaky footage, or other related isseus with image quality or stability.

Hi, I am a Mechanical engineer by profession . So believe me when a mechanical part create i noise there is some problem ... my most guess is that its mechanical problem not software but who knows may be there is some issue in the programming and some current variations might be causing motors to create this sound

Hi,  I don't doubt your engineering knowledge but surely moving parts make noise?  Motors make noise because they move. It's why when someone does an impression of a robot, they make a robotic noise as the limbs move, no?

Mine makes the noise but i have not seen any shaky footage or jello effect etc (YET).  My only issue is that weird bottom line issue due to it pumping out more lines than needed for 2.7k

Well as much as it seems unlikely but I DO NOT have the gimbal noise now.
Haven't been for a flight yet but indoors my gimbal does NOT make the noise.

if the gimbal stops working then at least there's a years warranty. pretty cut and dry replace/fix situation if it happens

Will this fix the Battery Cell Error 30047 in my dead battery?

I'm not the expert but motor's noise like that I would say 50% chance is the PID settings in the coding.  DJI will need to fine tune it better, so firmware update SHOULD be able to fix the problem (all depends on their coding skills).  Take a look at some reference videos below, I used to build my gimbal and tune my own one couple years ago.  So good luck to all of us.

Great news with the new firmware. As far as more detailed changelog, I agree, but I know from reading these forums what I need to know of the before and after on this changelog. Each and everyone of these points are a result of someone on this forum posting about an issue they had with their Mavic Mini. But it would make it more convenient if it was more detailed. The unlock for the blue zones, doesn't look like it made it in this update. They've said late December and I honestly don't look for it till then. The gimbal noise, I don't have that issue, but some folks on here do. This can be caused by firmware/software. It can also be a hardware issue just as likely. Only way to tell is to update and see. As far as fixing an issue with cold, not saying it couldn't be possible, but I'd have to see it, but I'm hopeful it fixes those issues for those suffering with it. The only issue I have seen is the "Max power load reached" but I've only seen it once. I haven't been able to reproduce it since. But in any case, I hope it fixes a lot of issues folks are seeing.

Yesterday PRE update I had LOADS of max power messages even flying in P mode. Today I thrashed it around solidly for 10mins in S and didnt get a single warning. This was full stick up and out. I thought at any minute it was just going to drop from the sky but it stayed steady.

Fingers crossed this firmware has fixed a few things! I need to check the 90deg down gimbal kick issue as i forgot to do that earlier

Cmon, noise from motors is not mechanical, it is lill bit incorrect PID settings, so it is easily fixable by firmwhare
