Hello, Could anybody enlighten me or point me in the right direction here please. Purchased a couple of brand NEW DJI Inspire 1 kits. They were obviously old stock but they were obviously brand new and everything was sealed. One of the craft needed to be activated still. The crafts required firmware updates but the cameras failed to update and are bricked. I can take photos and video but I can't view anything at all in live view. They were sent off to a UK DJI repair specialist and they have diagnosed both units as havinbg a fault on the main board.

Both of these are new. I proved they were to DJI but they say the cameras were activated three years ago. I have been told by the repair specialist that this is not the case and cameras do not activate, it is only the crafts that activate.

I have tried effortlessy with DJI Customer service bit they just don't even reply now. Basically their answer was tough luck!

I'd really appreciate any help or contact within Eurpoe to try to contact them directly...

One issue is triggering red light here ... No DJI product in sealed box is activated, period. If it's activated, that means you purchased open box item(s). Since the warranty period starts from the moment of activation, you've been dealing with not too honest seller, I'm afraid ...

Hi bymg, sorry for the troubles with the drone, may I verify the following information? Thank you in advance.
1. What is the model of your camera? X3, X5 or X5R?
2. How many cameras have the same issue? May I have the serial number of them?
3. You sent in the drone and camera to the dealer but they refuse to provide the warranty service right? Did the dealer send back to DJI for evaluation? If yes, is there any case number?
4. The dealer mentioned ''units as having a fault on the mainboard'', do they mean both the aircraft and camera? May we have more chat screenshots and their damage assessment from the dealer?

These are the various case numbers : #2456262, 2449344, 2441750.I don't know why there are three different case numbers. They are X3 cameras. The cameras have an 08-15 error.  Main video board probably needs re-flashing I was told. They offered to send them in to yourselves in Holland on my behalf and charge me an administration fee.

This case has been going on since 20th November. You'll see all of the details in the case numbers. I have provided proof of purchase.

The above is the email ticket numbers and per the SN, these drones were all activated in 2015, 2016. Did you verify with the reseller to see whether it is brand-new?
You mentioned the dealer has sent in the cameras to Holland on behalf of you, could you please get the case number which is CAS-XXXXXX-XXXXXX from them? Thank you in advance.
