Is it possible to access Robomaster from an outside network using direct IP address and port information ?
I really would like to access it when I am not at home using port mapping on my router.

No. It uses non-routable broadcast UDP packets for several things. You could potentially get it to work by setting up a VPN tunnel, but latency will most likely not be great.

Both. But you can not battle other S1s is ad-hoc mode, you need a router. You can control a single S1 in ad-hoc mode.
