The new setup is pretty slick!  Takes just a click at each step, but rewarded with a new FRAP folder, reg.ini moved over automagically, and everything works excellent on the new version.  Very nice!  Thank you as always @JJB!!!  As this summer heat in Arizona continues, I get the feeling I'm gonna bump into a few things, and will be nice to be able to analyze the log files.  : )

Changed also the TRIAL mode, now after 15 days FRAP still usable but with some limitations in viewing charts etc.

finally got it working
In my case while installing "FRAPINI and USERINI folders  were not being created in step 4 of installation for some reason.

Now I need to spend bit more time to study the shown data & how to use that data.

New challenge for FlightLog analysis : CruiseControl!   really nice to have, but how to understand logs where there is speed but no RC input.  
Busy on that issue.....not all CruiseControl messages shown on the screen are found in the log.

GPS speed line coloured yellow in CruiseControl.

Flight into the wind on CC (lots of speed variations due to turbulence), on the way home more steady speed.

You do not have RC and / or mobile devices, only drones, your drones or ?

FRAP does not work without logs from RC/mob device.
So i will not sent a FRAP link to you.

Few new options:  

• Basic hand catching landing is'seen'
• Users can now write own text to hide or show once (make summary better readable.
• Flightlog selection filters improved.

But there are two links with two different .exe file size

Which one is the right one to use?

.exe 28176507 created at 13.27  or

.exe 28175626 created at 14.18 of the same day?

The first .exe is in the first link of your post and the second .exe is just below that...

Next week version 1.9.38  to publish.
Add a logbook to this version. (as few people asked me to do)
Plus correct few minor issues.
Logbook made to my preferences, can be changed ofcourse to show other data.Loading a FlightRecord from this is possible.

OOC = Out Of Control (so a RTH bc of this in the log)

Registered users receive an update email.
New users....sent me email for a download link.

For those that have not used FRAP and have been interested by this thread, let me just say, it really helps with dissecting exactly what happened with any flight.  I have learned many unexpected things through using FRAP and highly suggest it to anyone who loves viewing data a variety of different ways.  This has been a big part of my enjoyment of the drone world.

I know that you are working hard at this software, making it better with every new release, but once again I find myself having to ask how to deal with the installation..

You are saying:

"So install to a different folder, and add your curent folders to this version."

What folders? And what about the reg.ini? Actually, all the ***.INI ? Do they need to be copied over?

You see, I don't remember or wrote down what I did the last time when I did the last update, so it would be great if we could have an installation instruction pattern that we can follow and that comes with the update emails...

I hope it makes sense...

You are completely right, i need to improve the update process.

Sorry for my bad explanation, what is so logic for me is not logic for all  ;-)

Just install new FRAP version to another folder than your current version.
Run new FRAP, set the import and export folders in FRAP correct, use the same folders as in the older folder setup.So no copy paste files from old to new.

I will write some code to the next update 19.5.2 to make this done automatically.Thanks for your "criticism", i can coop that easily

I know this error  ;-)   does this error shows when only when you close FRAP with the cross top right ?
Normal closing prevents this error as this used memory is freed just before normal closing.

Fixed in next version.

Excellent... You are correct. It only show when you close using the X...

While I got you here, there is another error that does come up when FRAP open:



and I'm struggling a bit with the font size as well

Fonts are oke when Windows scaling is set to 100%.

For the 'Integer' error, sent the flightlog to my email, so i can check this.
