It seems the d-cinelike removed from the osmo. Can somone confirm this? So i needed to connect to the app in ord3r to turn it on.

Yes you can turn it on/off with an external lens now but you still do a gimbal from internal menu without a external lens.

Do you mean there are setting at menu for use a 3rd party lenses ? CMIIW

I just tested...
Wow, it boots up with wide angle lens attached!
The booting sequence slow down in up and down movement and allow wide angle lens to remain attached.

Could you take a video when powering on with lens attached,,,

Still have d-cinelike on my OP.

Tried turn on with freewell and Ulanzi wide lense. Nonproblem at all...

Have just installed update with iPhone 8. No problems with installation and all working perfectly

After update last firmware,, calibration using a ulanzi wide angle lens still failed.. Need advice....

Mine updated with no problem, shows version, larger menu! But like you, mine still locks on down
swing during start-up with filter on it? I read in note to auto calibrate so I did that and no change?

** sorry for red, but please, hear us. "us" because at least I own TWO osmo pockets. I think a lot of people want this feature in OP and you will make BEST gift for NY to all of us.

Missing Panoramas problem

It's still a huge problem, that final panoramas are not written to the uSD card in the Osmo Pocket. Instead, the finished panorama is transferred to a connected smartphone. This is specifically a problem in Pro mode, where one tends to put the memory card into a reader for transfer/sync/backup to PC or backup media. The stored html files are not a good replacement for the missing panoramas ;-), and it's a PITA ;-) to also have to fish these panoramas out of the smartphone every time.

It's not a new phenomena. The previous firmware version had the same problem. Maybe even earlier versions.

Any solution?

The gimbal just throws the lens away in a very rude manner !  A shame, I personally feel that Ulanzi lens have a better FOV in comparison to that of Freewell's. The blurs in the corners are subjective and can always be edited in post.

I cant update firmware to v01.10.00.30 it downloads and fails at %50 with error message "installation faiil 2" I test it different phones and formatted sd card several times

Receive my Freewell wide angle lens. Turning on has no issue with lens mounted. I think this optimisation is only for Freewell

The firmware installed easy, yet to be clear on my wide angle lense failing cal when installed during power up, I mean to say the gimbal still rotates all the way down past the point a wide angle will hit? My friends Osmo no longer swings that far down after update? What gives? Can I reinstall update?

Since the latest update my built-in display is not interactive anymore. It's like the touch-modus is turned off.

Hi,

I have an OSMO 3 that fails to update the  (V01.00.00.60) on an iphone 8 plus with IOS 13.3.1
The update does not start at all  and after 5 seconds it generates an error message:  Failed to update firmware: 0x00140002.

Before the update notice in the DJI app the OSMO 3 was working very well, now its completely lifeless.

I already uninstalled the app and  re-initiated the connection between the phone and OSMO.

Please, anyone has a solution?

Having an issue with my OP not focusing since this update. It focuses close but above 7-8ft it struggles to focus and is blurry. Lens is clean, calibrated, reset and everything including app is up to date. When filming with no subject close background is blurry. Tried all different quality settings. Close up is pin sharp.
