Please log in to the "www.dji.com" website before the flight, download and carefully read the "P4 Multispectral User Manual".
Note:
Please make sure that the firmware for the aircraft, remote controller, GS PRO APP and D-RTK 2 Mobile Station is all up-to-date. Otherwise, they will not work together.
I think could be usefull to know that DJI Support confirmed that a D-RTK2 unit cannot be used with both Phantom 4 RTK (P4RTK) and Phantom 4 Multispectral (P4M) without switching everytime from firmware v.02.01.0012 (P4M) to v02.02.0307 (P4RTK) as needed.

Same here. After Firmware Update, the P4M doesn't link anymore.
Opened a ticket at DJI, no answer yet. Seems to be a firmware problem.
Hi! Have you solved your problem with P4M? We have the same issue
Please, immediate solution for removing firmware in RC P4M and solution for connecting P4M with RC P4M. We need a solution NOW, we use the drone to work, not to make recreational videos.
Gentlemen of DJI solve this issue urgently, please.

Did you click on second tab, P4M? First one is P4R and it is for P4 RTK RC. If you update firmware for it, it is normally that didn't want to connect.
You are absolutely right Iska, but when nothing works, tests are done with everything possible. Normally, if you make a mistake you can go back and load the correct firmware and reconfigure the RC with P4M. This solution is not given by DJI, it is not right. We are talking about DJI not about a company of four friends.
Hi everyone! My company bought eight Multispectrals several weeks ago. Unfortunately, we've faced the same problem with linking drone to rc. Despite all efforts to fix it ourselves - we've failed=) Finally, I've got the answer from DJI: Interesting fact, it's not about updating firmware. The issue caused by the conflict between DJI GO 4 and DJI GSP. So, if are the lucky one who haven't activated your drone yet - just delete DJI GO 4 from your mobile device. 2 of our 8 drones were saved this way. If you've already "failed" your drone, the only solution is to wait for the new firmware. Release deadline should be 14.03.2020.
I have a different issue with mine...I think. Can anyone help me out.
I just received my P4 Multispectral. I went to take it for a test flight, but I can't get it off the ground. It seems like everything is connected, but when I go to take off, I receive a message that says there was an "error executing the command" with an error -1008.
I used Assistant to check the firmware version of the drone, and it is up to date. I try to update the controller, but there is nothing in the P4M tab.
Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated, as this is a work drone and I kinda need it pretty badly.
We have the exact same problem with linking drone to RC. Still waiting for the new firmware update, what should be 14.03.2020. Please confirm the new release date, since we need to use the drone to work as soon as possible. If somebody found a work-around, please let me know.
Hi everybody
The latest version was released
I upgradeed both drone and remote to the last version but there is still linking problem .
I don't know what to do.
Please help me.
Hi,
I have P4M and trying to update RC firmware but it's always failed at 99% (dji assistant 2 closed ). I'm currently on P4M RC version v0130 and the latest version is v0136
I've tried to cable RC to computer with or without P4M cable too / RC to computer and RC to P4M / etc. ... nothing working.
I don't find any solution. Anyone here how make it upgrade ?
