One of my early flights, over snowy fields. I was watching the screen which showed.... nothing. Just white. In the time it took to work out what was happening, the drone was two fields away and disappearing from sight. It couldn't fight the wind and wouldn't turn back. I just dropped it until I could land it, then went across country to search.
Lessons learned - don't fly in strong wind, maintain line-of-sight, use sport mode for turbo power, etc
