I've been using the Osmo Action for a couple of months now.  Overall I am pleased, so much so that I have now sold my GoPros.  I have discovered a problem, however, which doesn't seem to have been reported before on the Forum - so it may be I'm just unlucky.  When I'm changing settings two things occasionally happen - it's like the camera has a mind of its own.  First, it will take a still picture.  Second it will switch from back to front screen.  I reported the first problem to DJI Technical Support in October.  They told me it was a known problem but I'm still waiting to see a firmware update.

Has anyone else got this problem; and it you have, does DJI know about it?

I’ve just tried that and played around with the settings for about 10 minutes and there was no repeat of the problem.  How did you know that would make a difference?  Fortunately I rarely use voice control so wouldn’t miss it if turned off permanently.  But if I do want to use it then presumably the problem will come back which isn’t very good.  Interestingly you are the only person who responded to my message - so it looks like I’m the only one with the problem?

Just bought my osmo action second hand ( unused) going through settings with voice control on  and a instructional video playing on my tablet close to phone and it was doing as described, randomly taking photos and switching from front to rear screen , have seen this forum comments and switched off voice control and all seems good, I guess it was picking up audio from tablet!!

Confused the camera Lol, VC is okay if you do not say the words that make the commands work.

So my OSMO Action does the same thing. Constantly reverts to Still Image mode (voice mode off). Does the same thing when voice is on.

what are your default mode set to?

Mine does the same. Quickshot is set to video.

then Please get with DJI, as well open a new thread, As DJI has yet to come in here to address ANY issue

Appalling to read all these similar issues (I'm also having issues with my Osmo Action just chaning to photo mode (VC on), changing to random video modes (1080p100 without RS is absolutely useless for mountain biking).

Terrible lack of support from dji, not sure if I'll keep this cam, nor buy another dji product to be honest, this is leaving a very bitter taste in my mouth.
