Is anybody able to tell me if this gimbal arm looks tilted? To me it does but I need a second pair of eyes. I’m not getting any gimbal error

This image doesn't tells much. Please unfold the arms, set the drone on a table and power it. Take two pictures: one front view and one side view.

Hard to tell from picture.  The picture appears to have been taken at a slight angle.
There may be some lens distortion to picture.  Lines drawn across points on drone, conflict with other lines.

Is it common to adjust the gimbal roll? Also, does that usually means there is something wrong with the gimbal if I have to adjust it in the settings? I'm a new Mavic owner so im just curious

Its not uncommon to calibrate the gimbal a little.

Hi, thank you for reaching out. As we review the images that you had provided, it seems that we didn't find any problem with the gimbal. You may try to take a picture or video and upload it here for us to check it. Also, I will highly recommend calibrating your gimbal for us to avoid any possible issues with the gimbal of your DJI Mavic Pro. Please let us know if you have other inquiries or concerns. Thank you!

Yes, it is crooked, and gimbal calibration has nothing to do here. Something is not perfectly right with gimbal suspension. But who cares if it works, your images are aligned with a horizon and no jello effect is present on video?

Gimbal appears to be leaning to right (Port side of drone) in picture.

This is adjustment, not calibration ... Doesn't matter if works for you .

So it should be fine? I don’t need to bring in for repair?

I don't know ... Is it working up to your expectations? Can you stand for crooked gimbal? Is it driving you crazy?

yes it is. I mean I will eventually get used to a crooked gimbal. Adjusting the gimbal roll is the fix right? and looking at the images above, does it look level?

The question is if gimbal holds the horizon stable during yaw or roll maneuvers ...

No, roll need more adjustment. Judge by referring clearly defined horizon line (like on 1st image) to a top monitor frame.

If it doesn't hold the horizon stable during flight maneuverings, than only God can help you ... Or skills to fix the issue in post production.

Of course you may ... It's a marvel worth every penny you paid for, no matter how much she was abused by previous owner ...

Or sledge hammer to knock Gimbal the other direction.

Does bring up a question.  How best to check Gimbal for a level Pan left to right and straight Tilt up to down?  Need a very large grid pattern?
