The focus wheel works with my GH5 also without focus motor. So what is the point/ use of the focus motor?

The Focus Motor can be used with the Focus Wheel to control the focus, iris, and zoom. Focus Wheel can only be used to control camera focus.
For some cameras, pulling focus is not supported, then the Focus Motor can be used to achieve this feature.

hello i want to control zoom of my sony a7iii

Hello before updating the focus wheel controlled the zoom of my zony a7III and I found it practical. After updating the SC ronin it now controls the focus. How to return to zoom control? Thank you
