The Osmo Mobile 3 keeps getting better! When do you expect to offer Facebook Live, YouTube Live, Skype, Zoom, etc. face tracking with the Osmo Mobile 3?


(That's actually why I purchased the Osmo Mobile 3 kit). I'm having fun learning to use this awesome little gimbal but face tracking during Facebook Live or YouTube Live would be great for thousands of creators!

Yes. On iPhone 8 Plus. But it's nothing new.

It's still a huge problem, that final panoramas are not written to the uSD card in the Osmo Pocket. Instead, the finished panorama is transferred to a connected smartphone. This is specifically a problem in Pro mode, where one tends to put the memory card into a reader for transfer/sync/backup to PC or backup media. The stored html files are not a solution to the missing panoramas, and it's a PITA ;-) to also have to fish these panoramas out of the smartphone every time. It's not a new phenomena.

Any solution?

Same problem here. Apparently there is a Watermark management option under "Privacy" menu, but even if it's deactivated the watermark still appears on Story videos.

What's your mobile phone model?
DJI support mentioned that only mobile phones under the compatibility lists should be used with Osmo Mobile 3.

I don't think it would be a big deal fixing this bug by the way.

And when the wide-angle camera and slow-motion come? I use it with Samsung Galaxy Note 10+

DJI pushes this much more for iOS devices, and yet, on my iPhone 11 Pro Max, I cannot use ANY other rear camera other than the standard 26mm wide angle... No access to my Tele or ultra wide cameras...

DJI, hello??? I just bought this, but iPhones have had multiple cameras for MANY years now! This is a JOKE!!!

I have to use FlimicPro to get access to the other cameras, but loose ActiveTrack then, which is what I bought this for.

Get this done or I'm returning it and leaving negative social media feedback on this junk!

Well you see the idiot is the guy who purchases something without researching it, I have a mobile 3 and it works really well.
But everything you purchased from dji had problems and your continued outbursts about not buying in the future seem to fall even on your own deaf ears.

Can I record 4K @ 24fps on an iPhone Xs while using ActiveTrack?  

when i tried something on the touch screen the osmo 3 shifted off its axis while it was on and now it can not find the starting position and is constantly rotating and turning off after a few moments. please advise.

Hello. Please can you modify the mimo app. So that it is possible to save files to the expansion  memory on my phone???? I don't believe that more than 8 month ago nobody resolve this problem.

Indeed,  Im holding off the purchase of one until it becomes clearer,  I did have the Osmo Mobile 2 unfortunately it was stolen.

Yes mimo app works with iphone 11 pro / max. All 3 lenses are working.

The ultra wide lens will show a little bit of the gimbal motor, but you can fix that by moving youre phone a little bit offcenter.

Most Chinese companies are on the new years holiday. maybe they will respond after Feb 6?  

DJI will be closing their offices regarding the virus outbreak too.... I believe it will be months before we get real answers again.

I became aware of the issue afterwards. It's crazy what is happening there.

FW updating is needed for transferred video data that doesn't allow audio to work. I had to do a work around so audio could work on transferred videos. (changed from video extension from MP4 to MOV for apple products)

Hi there,
the face tracking is now working perfectly. But ...... the face is always held in the middle of the screen. The picture composition is not so good. Is it possible to get the face automatically in the upper third of the screen. Manual shifting is only possible in a small area. This is not a problem at ronin sc.

When will there be an update to control dead zone and exponential acceleration of the three gimbal axis?

Still doesn't support 4k or 8k 60fps video shooting on any Samsung phones.  Nor does it allow you to save directly on your SD card.
