why flight restrictions?

For some reason it thinks you are in an NFZ. Check the map in the bottom left corner and see why it says that.

As I can see on your picture, you are not only trying to fly in a NFZ, but also in a town, at night.
Flying in a populated area, parking lot and streets and at night is prohibited in Greece.
Also Greece police uses birds of prey against drones, mainly to combat terrorism. So be aware of that.

Checking you local drone regulations would be a good idea.

Yes they checked the map no restrictions

That is interesting then. I’ve checked that area in google maps and the closest airport is 17.5 km away. I don’t know about military installations though. I have to say someone smarter than me might have to answer this one because I can’t find an answer for it.

When will you sort out the Unlocking Fiasco??.
I’ve had my Mini 6 weeks & I still cannot take off in my own back yard in the middle off the countryside!!!.
I have permission from the relevant authority covering the NFZ as you are aware as I could fly My Air.

Any new updates on this guys?

Looks like we are not getting it for Christmas. I'm going to have to try foil on top of the drone to get it up in the air. Need to get some photos tomorrow with the drone

I’ve just powered my Mini up & got the normal screen asking if you are happy to take responsibility for flying in a restricted zone etc, but then to my surprise the screen cleared & I CAN NOW FLY!!!!..
No firmware update noticed before this I just went straight to the App & into the camera view from my Mini & off it went as above.

The ones that have to wait... will be better first pilots, be patient, it will pay off.
Hopefully you will get it soon, but taking time to learn from others experiences is priceless.
