I'm not receiving email notifications. The setting wording is really confusing (or plain wrong) as it always indicates notifications are on:


I have had the setting both on and off, and still never receive emails when people reply to my subscribed threads or send me private messages. Is there something I can do?

Is it working for anyone?

Hi 0Kajuna0, please check the 'Subscribe from email notification' under Personal Homepage, then you will receive the email when other users reply in your thread or reply directly to your post in other threads.

I just got my very first email notifications .. but there is still something not working properly..

If I compare email Notifications with Forum notifications (notices in the Forum top right corner) I see that I've got one notification which is not present in the Forum.. and the email notifications are only few.. so it's inconsistent....

It appears that your forum/email server have some trouble.. maybe because of too many users/too many messages to manage.. after Mavic Mini launch ? ;-)

I unchecked it for like the fourth time and just got my first email notifications

I am still getting only few (completely random) notifications.. without touching any settings. I get one every 10.

the Forum email notification system is definitely buggy..

any plan to solve it?

The checkbox is even more broken than it was before. Now it reloads the page and the setting does not stick. The wording on the label is still wrong. It says "unsubscribe" when not checked and "subscribe" when checked, so you never know what the setting really means. See here:
That said, I do receive notifications every now and then, but it's completely random. So you can't trust the system and have to check the forum every so often to see if you missed some important message.

How is this still not fixed 2 years later? Every now and then a notification is sent. Most of the time they aren't.

The reminders are only sent when you are checking on the issue (replying to this post). Private messages and updates to other threads are not being sent (not to spam either)

I have notifications for those on the site, but no emails.

I am also not receiving emails when users message me privately.

(By the way, adding links and pictures to posts is also quite broken, as this post shows)

I've tested it, when I tick "Subscribe from email notifications", someone reply to my post (not a private message), I can receive a reminder as well as an email notification.

So there is no problem, DJI Natalia. !!!

The private message won't get an email notification, I think it is normal. Only when someone replies to your post, you can receive an email notification.

There is no problem. I've tested it.

I don't have that problem. I posted a thread, I received an email notification immediately after my friend replied to it.
