Just means they haven't made a nickname on the forums yet.

Some reports still not working after (app) update, some reports updated app is asking drone FW update ( which is unavailable at the moment ) , does it work for you ?
I am charging my phone , can check in few hours earliest so please share your result if it`s working or not ?

All seem ok after update and fly test but I'm not in blue area to test NFZ...

Just wait little time, they send update step by step

Firmware and app upgrade on IOS available in the spain

now we have wait for dgi self unloking page to put the mini model

That the update worked is one thing, that you can also fly afterwards another. Who dares to fly with the new version ? ;-)

Upgrade works for AC and RC

I am using a Ipad Mini 4 and DJI Fly 1.0.4

Don't forget to check that the RC upgrades as well !!!!!


Confirmed working features

1) no take-off without at least 8 satellites -  although I was still able to get into ATTI mode by accident without turn the function off manually in DJI Fly

2) no take-off if not enough light, can be manually controlled in DJI Fly

3) Compass calibration requested by DJI Fly in low light

everything else looks like it's still working

The 1.0.4 APK is available for download.

Same to IOS!

you can disable it in FLY 1.04

i remain confused as to why, with each update, 1 battery is updated with the initial update, the 2nd then asks to be updated and the 3rd never asks to update.  Yet all work afterwards each time.

I checked my RC after reading your warning.  DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic reports the controller as up-to-date on version 1.0.4.  I didn't do anything to specifically update it.  After I sideloaded the Android APK, Fly told me that there was a FW update available for the Mini.  I connected my phone to the RC, and proceeded with the update.  The RC must have been updated during that process.  I've never been asked to update a battery.  I'll try flying later.

It works this way


1) When you don't have enough satellites to takeoff - if you tap on the red error message you'll be taken to the preflight check list where you can "unlock"


2) When there is not enough light to hover - if you tap on the error message you'll also be taken to the preflight checklist where there is the option for you to do a " compass calibration"  

what's about unlocking of Blue GeoZone? I've try to unlocked but without success?Has anybody news?

So far I see an improvement nothing related to what the update shows - 1) No problems with drone showing payload error when I have nothing on or around the drone - 2) No more over power warnings - 3) I am now able to take my CE version up to 50 meters and 200 meters away from me with out loosing signal - 4) I am also getting a bit more fly time out of the batteries - 5) The only problem I have is every time I power the drone off and power up again I get asked to calibrate the compass
