I've just downloaded the latest version of the DJI FLY app (v1. 04) and it still crashes with my Galaxy S10 plus. Not happy.

Updated to 1.0.4! It won't open now! This is unacceptable! DJI Fly app has been down for several weeks after Android 10 update! Just a white screen and the phone freezes! (Samsung galaxy s10 + Exynos) Please update the application as I cannot use the drone until then!

1.03 worked for me as well on Galaxy S10 and Android 10 but with 1.04 the app crashes with every start. Very annoying.

I had a sad experience on the Samsung Tab S2, Samsung does not support its own-made Exynos processors, but it is happy to support Qualcomm processors...
When asked on the official website of Samsung, I was told that they do not care about the opinion of consumers!
Therefore, in the future it is probably better to refrain from buying Samsung equipment on their own Exynos processors!

I'm on Galaxy S7 and there is no version 1.04 available.
EDIT: The link in DJI Download Center is to the 1.04 version but the label still shows as 1.03.

For anyone with app crashes, instead of updating the app, uninstall and then install a fresh one.

It appears that most who are having this issue have an Exynos processor.  I read in a different forum that DJI is working with Samsung to fix this issue.  Hope that it gets fixed soon so that you can fly.  Have a Happy New Year.

Desintale la aplicación, limpieza completa, sonda instalar 1.0.4, mismo problema

Especificaciones del movil:
Samsung s10
Android 10: Android Oficial, NO beta.

Investigando en la Web, me doy cuenta que este problema ya lleva 2 meses sin solucion, desde que salio la version android 10


¿Alguna recomendación?
Se pago un buen dineral por el Dron, me parece injusto que no funcione, ya sabiendo que llevan mas de 2 meses, veo que no podre usarlo un buen tiempo.

Hi, I am using the Mavic Mini from my Samsung S10, running Andriod 10 on the Exynos processor.

I don't really know why my workaround is successful but it does work for me about 75% of the time. My process to get the app past the white splash screen is as follows:

1- Reboot the S10 and unlock my sim and handset
2- Run the Microsoft Launcher app
3- Immediately start the DJI Fly app

At this point it is slow to open the app as the S10 is still completing restart process but usually continues on into the main DJI Fly app screen.

Guys, please don't use any workarounds and wait until the issue is resolved by manufacturer. You may cause your drone some additional troubles.

Looks like they've already fixed the issue as I've just launched the app successfully today with my S10+ Exynos. Also tried to fly the Mavic Mini. Successfull. Still a little bit scary that there may some issues though.

For whom it still an issue - there is a way to run the drone with Samsung S10+:

• Uninstall all DJI apps from your phone
• Open any file manager (native Samsung's will work just fine)
• Check and delete all DJI folders (make sure you have copies of your DJI photos and videos somewhere)
• Open Play Store app > Settings > Auto-update Apps > Disable
• Update your Android system to the latest security update available.
• Install v.1.0.3 app. I've downloaded it from this resource: https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/dji-technology-co-ltd/dji-fly/dji-fly-1-0-3-release/dji-fly-1-0-3-android-apk-download/download/
• Open the app and accept all the requirements etc.
• Wait until ZIP package is downloaded and unpacked
• You're done (enter credentials and start using the app)
  

If it doesn't work on S10+ - repeat the procedure and pay more attention to the instructions

So the problem is with version 1.04.
I did not  download 1.03 from apk mirror
I found it on history download.

Aftter installing v 1.03.
Dont forget to cancel auto update, otherwise
Version 1.04 will com back and stop working
