Yeah.  The wind blows here a lot in the winter.  

LOL.  Good reason!

Here is mine...

The take-offs and landings would be interesting in deep powder snow, for sure!

I did fly a few days ago when, mysteriously and miraculously, the wind was not howling.  When I brought it in for a landing, I flew it over onto a bare area of sidewalk to avoid the snow.  It was a beautiful landscape for the flight, but did make me nervous!

And that's pretty much at ground level.

And I was wondering why my amazon order was late!!!

Semis blow over regularly near that outer drive location where the department of transportation has that weather station located.

I like checking it when the house is shaking just to verify what I already know!  We get even higher winds at our water tank locations.  They're located on hilltops for obvious reasons.

We were checking out the sand-blasting erosion of the walls of a building at one of these sites one night, and in the ten seconds it took to get from a truck to inside of the building, my pants pockets got filled with sand and gravel.
