Because to my knowledgs an air2  "is not marked as class C1 and is not operated with active and updated direct remote identification (trasponder) and geo-awareness systems".

That said the only thing one can do is to wait until EASA regulation becomes operative to see if Dji starts to put those labels on the air2 and the required hardware too.

At least the C1 Label would not be mandatory as is the ID Transmitter. ID Transmitter is for higher classes and not required in Open ( Flight Level in Open is out of other flights. if you meet another aircraft in this airspace there is only two possibilities:

1) Your are Flying in an Airspace you are not allowed to
2) The other Aircraft is flying in an airspace it is not allowed to

Geo Awareness is build in DJI´s App for Years already...

I recently purchased the Mini with the sole purpose for utilising flight plans and waypoints.  I'm very keen to use the Mini as a test to see what limitations I can expect from performing aerial photography routines and delivering digital mapping products.  I would really like to see how the Mini stands up and will be making decisions for the future purpose of a Matrice class drone.   Does DJI intend to have this functionality in the near future?

but anyone can make an app that this drone can use.
so .... so many aftermarket apps will add support for mavic mini.
there are so many important apps out there . till now you only had the dji-fly  (a manic mini only app).

yes, warranty and care refresh are void, when using 3rd party accessories or software!

That’s not true. Care refresh clearly sets out that if your crash is a direct result of third party app your care refresh is void, and this is exactly the same for your normal warranty.
So as it says the third party must be the cause of the crash.

Having been flying dji drones for almost 6 years I have never heard of a single crash caused by the dji app or any other app, I have also never seen any case where warranty was disallowed because of third party app being used, on the contrary I have seen many warranty accepted including care refresh being accepted while users were flying using third party app.

Such a pity that we as Android don't get to try it. It addresses one of the main problem with automated panorama shooting: bracketing, by capturing pictures for later montage with image stitching and HDR software.

There's one thing I don't understand, Android has 75% of the global market, 25% for ios and yet it's tjrs them that developers choose first, why ?
