#My2019Highlight -  VORTEX EFFECT -

Last year I played a little bit with my panoramic photographs ...
rediscovering an effect that I call "VORTEX"
with great pleasure and pride, I found many other people who liked this type of photographic work ...

it is not very difficult to make it ... below, there is a small tutorial

certainly, each of us has its own different point of view and artistic spirit ...
I can say that I had a lot of fun making these photographs that I hope so much you will like too...

these photographs were obtained using different types of drones, such as the phantom 4 pro
mavic Air and also the  new mavic mini
I also used the my very useful osmo pocket...

my favorite technique is to use panorama mode
merge the photos together to have the highest resolution possible
and then play with editing
but it's also fine to start from a single shot
the choice is yours to have better fun


free program used for iOS
PhotoScapeX
look at the two simple steps below to get your vortex effects


plays with contrasts and vignette
to add a little depth
but above all have fun with your photos

The effect could be a bit systematic and borring if badly used but..

Your choice of basis image is really great (non symétrical or flat first plan) and the result is beautifull and artistic.
The first three images you shared are, from my opinion,really fantastics.

I'm trying 2 methods right now.
1. Merging the stack in autopano giga, filling the gap (in the sky) later.
2. Rendering the spherical 360, filling the gap (in the sky), making the vortex later (not sure how yet)
