Did you know ? For indoors flying just keeping an eye on the Mavic Mini, you can fly without the phone.
Just start the RC, start the MM and wait until the connection to RC is established (green light flashing).
You can then start the motors (Two sticks manoeuver) and take off siimpy pushing the stick.

Landing is simple too, just pull the stick.

Of course doing this is a your own risks as you loose the status information and you cannot see the camera feedback (of course).

But for simple quick inddors flights I do not bother anymore with the phone ;-)

Never doubted it could fly without phone as I have done that also.  When I tried that I used the propeller guards, in Cinemode and was in a well lit room with contrasting colors floor carpet.


For new flyers - be careful and start stick movements gradually.  Do not want to hear about any crashes.
