What's a good yet not pricey & complex soft app there is, for editing videos (including 4k) off the Mavic ..?
I'm not pro and rather newb on video editing, but, I would like at least more common functionalities - such as cut, paste, transition effects, text, titles, filters, music tracks, fades, etc - And also :  to those speed-ups (dunno what they called ... ) people do : you know, like first slow then fast-fast fast- then back to slow/normal (if that makes sense ).

And, I also want to be able to freeze a 4K video, and , take / save full resolution of 4K photo / still image.

Recommendations are most welcome ...      ( I know Adobe clound stuff, never used, I know is prob most Pro or known, but, there are /is probably more apps out there ..??)

DJI Go 4 app's Editor keeps crashing on me, when I try to do a 4k project .... I dunno if its the memory limit, or what, but - that app has serious bugs/limitations.

BTW, I'm mostly PC/Windows based. But I do use iOS on iPhone & iPad which I use to fly the drone, and for quick Go4 App edits (auto generated mostly).

Davinci Resolve, it's a bit of a learning curve but it's worth it.

Power director does a pretty good job.  Not that expensive either.

I started using Davinci Resolve 16 a few months back.  Loads of online support and pretty easy.  Once you learn the basics - you can throw some stuff together really fast.

Yea I know this software, used it 7 years ago or so , for some home videos.  Deff easy PC app.

I was just not sure it can do what I want.

The iMovie is Ok kinda, use it on my iPhone . But I don't see it can do what I want.

Adobe is aweomse, but have to pay monthly subscriptions for the cloud.

Yeah, bit of a pain in an iPhone - better on an iPad or desktop, but iMovie has all the functionality you listed at the top of the thread. If you're a student you can get some pretty good Adobe cloud deals too, just sayin'. Good luck with your quest!

Yesterday started with Free Resolve, at least learned how to render / re-render to another format. Will proceed from here learning it more, see if I can do what I want with it.
