No. YOU are wrong. The frame rate of 30 fps can be played on any player, computer, phone, tablet or TV set anywhere in the world, because it is a simple MPEG stream. None of those devices care about the frame rate. The only issue, as I pointed out, is shooting artificial light, such as flourescent fixtures, where you will get strobing due to the difference between the 30 fps rate and the local mains power frequencies.
No point in this discussion... Yes: you are correct saying that 30fps video can be played on any consumer device. But I'm working for broadcast (1st line of business, 2nd is drone-operator) and there's absolutely no way any European TV-station or DVD/Blu-ray authoring facility is going to accept material shot @ 30fps. It would need transcoding ergo loss of quality. And THAT is why all other DJI-drones have the choice between 24, 25, 29.97, 30, etc frame rates.
That being said: my question stands. Is there a way to get the P4R shoot video @ 25fps? |
