Extending recording time is important to us.
Entered a 5,000 mile rally 10 days driving 10-12 hour days
This February the rally goes north to Aklavik and Tuktoyaktuk then over to Coldfoot finishing in Anchorage in time for the Iditarod sled race.

How much Osmo Action recording time do you get from one 256gb card?
Trying to determine how many to purchase.


We are trying to capture 10 - 12 hours of driving each day.

Sorry but i can't tell you. I never loaded it full of data so far, because i put my stuff to my PC after every trip.
Also i just record in 2.7k.

When I'm home from work, I will clear the SD Card completely and then check out how many minutes are possible at the different settings. Will take a few hours. Just check the Forum here later.

OK so it looks like this:

4K -> 24, 25, 30, 48, 50, 60  FPS = 340 minutes recording time
2.7K -> 24, 25, 30 FPS = 425 minutes
2.7K -> 48 FPS - 60 FPS = 340 minutes
1080P -> 24, 25, 30 FPS = 972 minutes
1080P -> 48, 50, 60 FPS = 425 minutes
1080P -> 100, 120, 200, 240 FPS = 340 minutes

I'm using the Samsung Evo Plus 256GB U3 card which seems to work for me.  I'm curious as to why people buy the extreme version, is it mostly for faster downloading or is there something I'm missing out on for recording?

Confirming the 256gb card works and the recording time is very helpful
Driving 10 to 12 hours a day competitively, want to limit the card changes.
Looks like getting two will cover us for a day.  
Transferring to external drive at night enables starting clean in the morning.

Thanks for confirming the 256gb SD card works.
Only reason I can think of for faster cards is the faster write times.
