Wow, 8k and 16 miles is pretty good

The pictures don't look too great.  The 4K videos seem to have Jello.  The FLIR Boson looks like a game-changer but everything else isn't too good.  I think the Skydio 2 image quality is better for the videos.

Im not sure where the got 16 miles from,  the reports Ive seen from people that have them are 9km.   However the price point should create some competition in the market which will be good.

Oh and they have no remote id plan yet so it might not be very future proof.

I won't be buying anything until the new EU regulations are in place here in NL.

So it appears now that this is just an ad.  Likely a poorly edited cut and paste.  

Tom's tech time says he couldn't get 40 minutes out of the drone on multiple attempts.  38-39 mins at best, with 32 realistic mins of flight time.

The bit that amused me was "Patented Battery Lock" and "Patented Landing Lights" and "Patented Propeller Locks" = Really?

The average joe does not give a rat's what they claim to have patented, but in any event I would think all those things have been invented before. "Patent applied for" would be more likely.

Oh, this ridiculous 8K video lure for naive people ... Squeezed off 1/2" sensor it's just plain BS, resulting in noisy image with maybe 8 stops of dynamic range and terrible compression artifacts to be playable at all. Stop salivating, please ...

So, a  "wow", is now drooling is it?  i posted as its the 1st 8k for an affordable drone.

4K/120 fps video off 1" sensor and good lens ... Yes, that will get my attention in 2020, but not this ...

Well it evidently did get your attention else you wouldnt know the specs and you wouldnt be replying, like it, dont like it, its no skin of my nose, me, personally, I dont like it for other reasons.

Seems interesting on face value,  but the proof of the pudding etc etc.

They got my attention with their Live deck https://auteldrones.com/pages/livedeck. If I can get a 1080p/60fps feed to a location completely remote from the pilot, that's just what I'm looking for. We'll see how it performs.
