since my g85 does not have a headphone port for live monitoring this sold it for me. and not really painful since coupon knock it down to $99 via amazon

Very helpful test of a wireless lav set-up that really challenges the Rode options. I bought a wired Rode smartLav+ to use for an indoor two camera interview set-up with the mic plugged into my smartphone but it was limiting for the interview subject who couldn't really move without tugging at the cable. This option seems to be much more.affordable and your video indicates it works well. Thanks!
