Here's my first preliminary test of the Neewer NW82 video mic with the Osmo Action, there's also my first prelim with the Neewer NW82 and the Hero 8, this should give a good example of the differences between the cameras with the same mic. I'll be doing an in-depth review of the Neewer NW82 soon.

You are very welcome. I’m actually really surprised with the quality of the mic, for the price it is very good. I also think it matches up very well with the Cynova interface, although it does sound better on the Hero8.

Thanks for the mic comparison video.
Glad DJI fixed the audio issue with Cynova firmware update. However, it appears that the Rocksteady stabilization on the DJI looks worst than before.

You are very welcome, I think this mic is actually very good for its price and I’ll post the full review once it’s done.

As for changes to the Action, yes, I’d have to agree. I’d also noticed some changes since the last software update.

I’m using the PGYtech vlogging case https://amzn.to/2NCSOd1 as it’s thin enough for connecting the Cynova interface and also has shoe mounts for the microphone’s mount.
