DJI seems to prefer iPhones to Androids, but they don't say why. Does anyone know?

I got an Android from Amazon UK for £64 and it does the business.  I only got it for use with my Phantom 2 Vision.  I'm sure it's the spec you get as I tried a cheap 7 inch tablet thing and it won't download the app for some reason.
This one works:
Swees® 5.0 inch 3G Unlocked Smartphone Android 4.2 Dual Core 1.3 GHz, 512MB RAM / 4GB ROM, Dual Sim Dual Standby, Capacitive Touch Screen, 8MP Camera WIFI GPS + Original Flip Cover Case - White
This one doesn't:
Tablette Tactile PC Internet WiFi Camera HDMI 7" Android 4.0 Neuf ---TBS®M710 Android 4.0 MID 7 "Cortex A9 1.2GHz tablette PC, 512M, DDR3, 8G , Multimedia Flash Ebook Jeux 3D Camera Wifi HDMI (Blanc)

Hope it helps.

"System Requirement of Mobile Device: iOS version 6.0 or above/ Android system version 4.0 or above
Mobile Device Support: Recommended: iPhone4s, iPhone5, iPhone5s, iPod Touch4, iPod Touch5; available but not recommended: iPAD3, iPAD4, iPAD mini. Samsung Galaxy S3, S4, Note2, Note3 or phones of similar configuration."

Thanks for the info. Yes, it seems I'm going to have to buy a used smart phone for just the camera interface, but I still don't know why DJI seems to prefer iPhones over Androids.

The Phantom series are white in color, that says a lot about the taste of DJI.
