Hi Guys and Ladies!

I am sorry about my English.

I wrote 2 times to DJI support to email, 2 times  on forum to  DJI Mindy, but DJI Ignored my messages.

Please test may situation, and if You have some error, please write this about.

I tested it on Smartphone Xiaomi RedMi Note 6 Pro, MIUI Global  11.0.2 Stable (Android 9PKQ1.180904.001) Russian location and language; DJI Mavic Mini CE v.01.00.0400 (v.01.00.0300 had these problem, older version do not tested), DJI Fly v.1.0.6 (1.0.4 and 1.0.3 had these problem, older version do not tested), but I think this errors do not depend at versions of smartphones and android.

See my video:  :

All actions take place in the same room, drone and RC do not shift at place.

Open application DJI Fly, open the tab "Transmission" and toggle to manual mode.

Close configuration menu, close window "View from drone camera" (toggle to first screen of application). Open screen "View from drone camera", open tab "Transmission". Dbm/MHz histogram show true situation with noise.

1) Toggle channel mode to "Auto", the drone is reloaded and all channels on histogram turn to red.

2) Toggle channel mode  to "Manual",  but all channels are red.

3) Close tab "Transmission", close window "View from drone camera" (toggle to First screen of application).

4) Return to tab "Transmission"... Bingo!!! The Histogram already show real situation with noise.

Go to at point 1) for repeat...

Errors in application:

1) Noise histogram. Description for axis is wrong: dbm/MKz. True description: dbm/MHz   or  dbm/GHz

2) DJI Fly application wrong show channels noise histogram.

3) At reason point 2) DJI Fly and Drone choose to work channel with not minimum noise.

4) When I choose channel in manual mode, the Menu item is toggle form "Manual" to "Auto" at few seconds and return to "Manual" status.

Another errors:

5) When drone is drop the connect with RC and return to home drone might be change modes S to P to S many times each seconds, I think it is not normal:

Switch mode S-P-S-P

Switch mode S-P-S-P

I think there's a problem in the algorithm of scanning channels to the level of interference in Auto mode.
If I understand what's happening correctly:
1) The console or drone switches to the next channel.
2) The panel or drone starts to emit on this channel.
3) The console or drone scans the channel, captures its own radiation, and fix in the program.

In my opinion, it should be:
1) The console or drone switches to the next channel.
2) The console or drone must disables own radiation on this channel.
3) The console or drone scans the ether.

In this case, will be fix the real level of interference.

Hi. Thank you for reaching out to DJI Forum. With regards to this concern. Upon checking the Redmi Note 6 Pro is not listed on the recommended device lists. Are you encountering this concern on a different compatible mobile device? I would recommend to please try flying the drone in different location with less interference to check if you are getting the same issue. In addition, I would recommend to please try refreshing the firmware of the DJI Mavic Mini and remote controller using the DJI Assistant 2 . Please keep us posted for further assistance. Thank you.

Based on your response, it can be assumed that DJI specialists were trained at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizard   :
In DJI Fly in channel mode "Manual" - all channels free from interference.
In DJI Fly in channel mode "Auto" - all channels are full of interference.
In DJI Fly in channel mode "Manual" - all channels free from interference.
In DJI Fly in channel mode "Auto" - all channels are full of interference.
It is a magics...   Or... I see only 2 reasonable explanations:
1) Product scrap - self-excitation of the radio tract.
2) Software error in channel scanning algorithm.

I believe this is an error in the interference detection channel scanning algorithm (see a previous message).
I understand that you have many a simply questions from beginner users, but now is not it case. I am an electronics engineer (25 years of experience) and a programmer (15 years of experience). I did the research and determined the conditions for its repeatability.

You were not observant:
1) The software in the console, drone and DJI Fly are the latest versions.
2) RN6Pro is the complete hardware equivalent of Redmi Note 5 (processor, WiFi Bluetooth modules, exclude display). In addition, my compatriots conducted a test on HUAWEI P10 and confirmed such behavior.

Watch video attentively. The drone and the console are in the same place. The real level of interference is displayed in the "manual" mode - almost all channels are free from interference, so it is not necessary to look for a less noisy place. Error of channel interference level analysis is cyclic:
"Manual" channel mode - no interference
"Auto" channel mode - there is interference
"Manual" channel mode - no interference
"Auto" channel mode - there is interference
"Manual" channel mode - no interference
"Auto" channel mode - there is interference
"Manual" channel mode - no interference
"Auto" channel mode - there is interference
...
I assume that automatic mode, due to error, except for foreign interference, the equipment records its own radiation. That is why all channels gradually become "noisy," therefore the cleanest channel is not always selected.
I like the DJI Mini and want to enjoy flying, so I ask you to send my message to the developers to correct the mistake. Thanks.
