Hello together, hello Mindy,
no matter what i do and how my settings are and which cable i use, the pulling function is gone!

I only get the zoom function via Multi Cable, but not focus with type-C Cable.
I use the Sony A7III with listed Lenses.

I set smartphone to off and USB to Remote, turn on the SC and then the A7III with Type C Cable, the Wheel turns green.
The Cam is set to MF and the Lens has no AF/MF switch.

Then there is no reaction if i turn the wheel in any direction.
If i switch to the non type C cable, i get the zoom function working.

I use the latest apps and firmwares.


Please can anybody help me out before i have to send my Ronin to the support?

Could i be that this is a very sensitiv theme because a Mindy is lost in the great universe and no one othe wants to talk about that?
I can remember that some other members have had the same issue and until that Mindy has chage her Job from support to office i thought!

Do i realy send my Ronin to the support?

Hi Guido, I am sorry for the late reply. Please also make sure that you had enabled PC remote in the camera settings, please refer to the tutorial and check all steps:
If the issue persists, please provide the camera firmware, Ronin-SC firmware and the setup video for us to check further about the issue. Thank you.

Some specs.
- latest app on android
- phone Huawei p20 Emui 9.2
- SC latest Firmware
- DJI Multi type C Cable
- some original supported AF Sony lenses without AF schwitches on latest Firmware
- Sony A7III with Firmware 3.01
- Smartphone strg is turned off
- USB is set to PC Remote
- DJI Focus wheel  can set to CAN or SUB, without changes
- Wheel turnes green without any reaction to focus
- Zoom pulling by cable change is working
- i do the same steps like in the Video
- i recognize this failure since two Firmwares back

Is there something that i can have changed in the SC settings that this fealure could happend?
Can i test the Type c cable on errors?

Sorry Mindy, but with such long delays your service is useless and stands not for a good support of such a big company.
I have posted this question twice some month ago and you did not answer it.

At my setup there is no focus pulling at all. It tries to use the zoom but not the focus at my A7III Any suggestions?
