I have a question regarding to DJI Phantom 4 Pro v2.0.


1) When do you set focus to infinity? In what condition?
2) What is the minimal distance when setting focus to infinity is a good choice?

3) When shouldn`t I set focus to infinity?
4) Do you set focus to infinity when you fly nightly?

find a Depth of Field Calculator or an article about it to understand better photography..but in short, on the picture you can follow the 24mm column (P4P camera) and cross the focal, after it, you can set to infinity

you're welcome...deep of field is mainly used in photography because you can change lenses and you are often close to the subject..but a drone it'll always be far from everything due the height so set infinity focus is 99% the better option..

Agreed, 99.9% of the time it should just be at infinity.  According to the chart, 21 feet at the widest f-stop is the longest minimum distance.  

also, a greater f will increase the deep of field effect..
