Hi all,
I'm very excited to be receiving my Ronin-M in the mail today. I noticed there are threads that mention problems with the roll axis and it seems most are trying to roll back their firmware. What I would like to know is what should I do when I recieve my Ronin-M in the mail - update the firmware or not? I'm an Android user, but I do have a windows laptop and a Hackintosh running Yosemite, but I'd like to use my phone (obviously). I just don't want to update it if it's going to mess up the roll axis and then try to roll it back.

So...what steps should I take to get my Ronin-M up and running once I recieve it in the mail?

the firmware issue you mention is for the original Ronin...the M is fine... just update the IMU (if needed) from your pc and calibrate from your android
