Sometimes a picture just works. (in my opinion)
Especially with HDR panoramic images, it is hard to envision the end result while you are taking the captures.
In this case I was taking pictures for a friend of mine (I will share them when I'm finished with that project) but when looking up, I noticed the sun lit up the village where I live.
Due to the high contrast between sky and ground, I had to use AEB - 5 stacks and also used portrait mode so I only had to make 1 row for my panorama.
A lot of effort, but worth it (if you aks me)

Its a lovely image,  worth the extra effort.

Great shot. My only nit would be the blown out skies. Would pull back a bit on the highlights, if you have detail captured in one of the shots (if it where mine.)
Love the warmth of the foreground.

Yeah, I agree.
Unfortunately it was just blown out.
Even with AEB.
I got my average wrong when I started....

Nothing changed since the time I posted it.
In fact, I always throw away the source images once I'm done.
So I can't do much about it anymore after that.
(too much space on my HD)

I am so damn OCD when it come to Image quality and blown highlights, I have deleted fairly awesome images because of that. (and am sorry about it now)
Trying to change my view with drone photography though. Keep on telling myself that a small bit of hot whites, won,t kill me.............It mostly work.

With my camera gear, I am unable to break that rule though........and the horizon should be straight.
I suspect might be a pain in the backside.

I get that.
Most of the times you just have to live with it.
Too much dynamic range.
And the horizon is a different matter.
I find it hard to do that with drone pano shots, as the horizon is usually not as clear due to haze / clouds. So sometimes you end up correcting something that was straight in the first place.
