After sustaining a crash and the replacement of M1 and M6 motor/arm kits, the aircraft exhibits the following problems;

Aircraft Status page in DJI Go shows ABNORMAL for Motor ESC status (see pic)

When this line is expanded, there is an error on all 6 ESC (see pic)

When updating the aircraft firmware it Fails with a "device ESC (0) is not contented" error (see pic).

However the individual motor tests in DJI Assistant 2 for Matrice all pass.

In addition, in DJI Assistant 2 for Matrice, only 2 of the GPS show up (see pic)

I have uploded the Error Log. My email is todm@engineeringvision.com
Please advise.
Thank you

Each motor has an ESC and they are all connected.

Maybe the flight controller got damaged when the ESC shorted together in the crash.  How did you crash?

I think you are right, it hit the ground at full speed. But at over $1,000 for a replacement A3 controller I would like to be able to test it before I spend the money. Thank you

Hi TodAM,  I just had the same thing happen to our M600 Pro.  Was only at 100ft AGL and looked down at the controller and saw ESC error and when I glanced back up the Matrice was dropping out of the sky in an "uncontrollable" spin hitting the deck hard enough to break most of the motor arm (red plastic rotating arm clamps) and damaging one motor (M2).  So I ordered just a replacement motor, not the whole arm, and soldered the new (3 -red, blue, black) leads on to the ESC board. Easy.  Then upon starting Matrice up, received the ESC error for all 6 motors, just as you had.  I also updated firmware and pulled everything apart on the power board and checked all connections, then used DJI Assistant 2 to conduct ESC and motor checks.  Still not sure what is causing the ESC error issue.  What was your fix?  Did you end up swapping out A3 controller?

I was able to find a used A3 system on Ebay and that fixed my problem. Be aware that the A3 system must be off of a M600 Pro. The "generic" A3 will not  work.
