I use XRecorder on my S9+... works perfectly for me and it's convenient to use. You capture your audio from your MIC input so mind your volume on Android, the one coming from the phone must be quite low.
To capture still images, I just use the Android built in "press the power and up volume" buttons screen capture. I have used the Arizona screen recorder a few times, but found that I did not use it often enough to want to put up with it nagging me all the time, so I deleted it.
For Mac and Windows users, Joyoshare VidiKit (https://www.joyoshare.com/vidikit/) can be the best choice to record any activities on the desktop.
