I shot 2.7tb of footage with my DJI equipment this year. ALL footage in my video is shot on a DJI product. Mavic Air, Mavic Pro Platinum, Mavic 2 Pro, and Osmo Pocket.


This year I traveled on a plane with the Mavic Air to Hawaii and Ireland, Mavic Pro Platinum to Phoenix, and Mavic 2 Pro to Boston.
My biggest tip to getting through airport security quickly and easily is to always print out the battery limitations from your specific airline and then print out the specs of your drone and batteries that you are traveling with. The Mavic 2 Pros batteries are by far the biggest and may cause some TSA screeners to take a closer look. This is where you show them a print out of the battery spec of

59.29wH, then show them the limits set by your airline. In my case Southwest sets a limit of 160w, so it's far below the M2P battery. Be confident in your knowledge of the drone and battery and inform TSA politely why your battery is legal. Never pack the battery in a checked bag. Always keep them in your carry on or personal bag and never fly with a battery that has a noticeable bulge. Follow these tips and you should breeze though your next airport security checkpoint.

If you're shooting in 4k you could film 100gb in a weekend. Better invest in some storage.

Still editing footage I shot in the fall. But I just built a new PC for editing so the process is going much quicker now.

Lovely video with some nice memories. I must admit however that I only ever shoot in 1080P. I find 4K too cumbersum to work with and so little equipment can actually cope with 4K

I agree 4k is difficult and requires a massive amount of computing power to edit smoothly. I just put $1600 into computer parts to build my own editing PC, and so far it's speeding up my 4k editing process greatly.

And yes... It absolutely poured on our wedding day. Was suppose to take place outside but instead it was moved to the barn.

It honestly makes editing enjoyable again. It was beginning to be a drag having to edit footage, and wait for the computer to pre-render, then render again, then do a final export. My time is more valuable than that. I kind of wish I would have built this computer years ago, and now that I'm done, I definitely have the bug. Already have more powerful processors in my Amazon wishlist so I can see went the price drops.
