Had my Mavic mini for a few days now but only managed a couple of quick hovers in the conservatory due to the less than perfect weather here in the uk. Luckily I ordered a skin for my mini so been able to pass the time applying the skin. It's purpose made for the mini and you can either pick from several hundred designs or you can upload you own image as I did. You get a skin for the mini plus the controller and 8 battery labels. They also do a set of operater ID stickers that come in silver, black and white on clear background so you can place over your skin. The site is decalgirl.com in the US. Not cheap and the UK delivery is a bit harsh but mine came in about 4 days and quality is excellent.

Not weighed it yet but the skin material is very thin. I would say negligible but probably more than 1g. I will try to confirm.

That's probably the reason I don't use any skins.
