Hi,

when I have my Air in the photo mode on Automatic I have a nice looking picture (not perfect) BUT all being equal I just switched to the Video mode in the Auto settings my picture becomes totally overexpossed.

Please see the below screenshots from my fying.

Does anyone has any idea how to solve this?

Regards,
Andraz

White balance has nothing to do with overexposure (although it is often suggested in this forum).
WB is about the colour of the light.
If your WB is wrong, your images will look too yellow or too blue.

Your video is overexposed because your exposure setting is wrong.
Both scenes look the same but the exp setting for stills was 1/800th and 1/80th for video

You can solve it by setting the correct exposure setting for the scene you are shooting.

The camera metering knows the setting is wrong and is telling you.
See the camera data on the screen and it shows EV +3.0 for the video screenshot but EV0 for stills.
EV +3.0 means the exposure is set to overexpose by 3 stops (or more).

Your shooting at 24 frames a sec and your shutter speed in 80. Should be 50, also you may want to invest in some ND filters.

Hello and good day Andraz. I am sorry to know that you are having issues with the photos that you have captured using your DJI Mavic Air. Please try to adjust or lower the Exposure Valued ( EV ) on the DJI Go 4 application to see if the issue will still persist. Please keep us posted for further assistance. Thank you.

Just because its in auto you can still change the EV settings - your +3.0EV it needs adjusting to read 0.0EV -
