Hello,
Whenever I shoot videos using a DJI Osmo Mobile 3 and my iPhone running iOS 13.3.1 (the latest to date), videos shot after 12PM are created with the wrong file creation timestamp (with a 12-hour offset).
I used exiftool command-line metadata reader on a Mac and, for instance, a video shot at 14:18:48 (2:18:48 PM) will have the metadata tag:
- File Modification Date/Time : 2020:02:18 03:18:48+01:00
whereas the EXIF metadata tag contained in the same file is fine:
- Media Create Date : 2020:02:18 14:18:48
So in this case the file's creation time was offset by -12hr.
Furthermore, any file created at around midnight will have an offset of +12hr, resulting in it appearing as though it were created at 12PM (midday):
- File Modification Date/Time : 2020:02:16 12:24:08+01:00
- Media Create Date : 2020:02:15 23:24:08
Still, this remains a mild annoyance and, I am pretty sure, an easy fix, as there has just been a datetime convention mixup — no big deal .
I should point out that I live in a 24-hour country (and UTC+01:00), not an AM-PM one, but have got my phone set to use AM-PM conventions (12-hour time). However, I tried switching to 24-hour time and restarting the app and the issue remained. |
