Since the Videos of the Osmo Action are so unbelievably huge I wondered if it is easily possible to convert them to .h265.

If it isn't, please ignore this thread and my noobishnes ;)
If it is, can you guys recommend me a free, simple Software for it?

I use my editor that I have to  render clips.  but you want a free converter   use google  search for free online converter

Perfect, thanks a lot. The last Converter i tried increased the file size from 4gb to 10
And I'm too lazy to do this in Premiere.
