I’m using normally my Mavic Pro Platinum at slow speed for shooting video and photos.

  

Yesterday I tested the maximum speed in sport mode (no wind and 100% battery) reaching only 33 km/h instead the 64 km/h declared by the official technical specification.

  

In the historical log the max speed reached (in 2018) was 59 km/h, that is lower than declared but quite near.

  

The flights are ok and commands perfect.

  

What can be the problem? Any specific configuration setting that is limiting the max speed?

Hi. I am sorry for the trouble this has caused. With regards to this concern. Kindly please, refresh the firmware of your DJI Mavic Pro Platinum using the DJI Assistant 2 and please check if the fly safe is up to date when connected to the DJI Assistant 2 after these troubleshooting steps. Please try flying the drone in a different location with less interference like power lines, radio tower and metal. Please keep us posted. Thank you.

I have never experienced totally windless conditions. Reduce the flight altitude and test it again. May be put some new prop blades on and see if that makes a difference. My max speed with the MPP was 42MPH.

maybe under:  main controller settings —> advanced settings —> sensitivity... I'm not shure... gain? or propeller cage?

How high were you flying? sometimes you pick up some resistance with the wind the higher you go.

@DJI paladin I will certainly do the verification you suggested through DJI Assistant 2!
@AJ I have already done various tests at different heights and in different places but always with the same result. I will try to replace the propellers with a new set!
@DaMa I tried to maximize the value of gain (120%) in advanced settings but without any appreciable effect

33 km/h max speed sounds like P-mode. Sure you're in S-Mode?

should have entered S-mode because it disables sensors and increases speed. With light wind up to 40 Km/h but does not reach the maximum engine speed (max 500 rpm)

Good news! I have refreshed the SW, calibrated the remote control, and changed the propellers.
Now the sport mode has entered correctly and the maximum speed reached was 71.28 Km / h.
