Brand new Mavic 2 Zoom just hit my doorstep. WooooHoooo
I am charging everything up and updating FW and I searched everything I could and could not find anything that said not to charge the RC and AC batteries at the same time. Just asking, is this OK?  Thanks for your help and I'm really looking forward to ogetting up in the sky.

DJI documentation suggested not charging the battery and charger together for the Phantoms, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

Yeah, that's why I asked. I fly a phantom also.

I charge mine at the same time. Three MZ2 batteries, the controller, Osmo action and
gimble using the same charger. Also with the original MP all four batteries at the same time.

I had to put a hot pad under my charger. Whew, it got hot...

No, it's the one that came with the package.
No fans......

It gets mighty hot but is designed to do so.

I had it on top of a piece of furniture and wanted to make sure it didn't melt the finish.

Yes, the Battery Charger can charge batteries and the remote controller at the same time, as well as serving as an external power source for other devices.
