Only way to get edge-to-edge sharpness.  I shot all these in Auto and didn't modify it.  They are a focus stack of 3.  Closest to the bottom right corner, middle, and top left corner.

But it takes longer than doing a 3-shot w/ the M2P and stacking it in post which is work. : (

Don't understand how stacking blurry images can result in a sharp one?

They aren't blurry.  They are sharp where the depth of field area is at.  Adobe realizes where the sharpest parts of an image are of the selected batch and only keeps those.  So you even up with having the sharpest of all the images in 1 photo.  If you had a lot of photos to process, it would totally suck but it's the only way to get everything sharp as the glasses of these are bad.  I really think the A7R4 area is just so far from the drone camera that I can just easily see the problems so it isn't really so bad but it is

Probably need an X5S or an X7 to get the quality I'm looking for but if there is so much wind, there is no way the shot would be sharp.

No stacking needed this photo is quite sharp but resolution has been trashed by the download to this forum. So your photos may not be blurry as the look .

Cropping out the sides is cheating and there are parts of that image that are blurry.

Here you can see some improvement it's now 1.4mb, but real size of photo is 7.8mb
